This stunning engagement ring was made circa 1950. It is set in platinum and the mount is hand made. The diamond is set up in such a way that there are double claws at each of the 4 corners of the diamond, making it look like a Square Cut stone. The diamond is a Round Brilliant Cut stone. The combination of this mount and beautiful stone has a very unique look. The stone is over a carat and faces up white with good clarity. There are 2 tiny diamonds on each shoulder to enhance the overall look. This ring is vintage, bold and gorgeous. It is in excellent condition.
