This highly unusual fob with a double serpent motif opens to reveal a double frame interior. It is made of 18kt and 20kt gold with 2 beautiful bloodstones. This piece has been tested and is accompanied by a GIA certified appraisal who includes confirmation of metal quality.There is an inscription on the inside which reads "Ni le bruit, ni l'eclat." As you can see from the pictures, the condition is excellent. We believe the piece was made about 1850 but it may be earlier. The total weight of the piece is 28.9 grams.
