This stick pin is an excellent example of Art Nouveau design. It is set in 14kt yellow gold. The stylized diamond shaped opal is framed by enamel which begins with a rosy hue and descends down to an intense dark blue. This frames the lively opal reflecting bright red green and blue. This is a Harlequin opal. The stick pin is crowned with 3 old European diamonds and finished with a single diamond at the final tip. It measures 2 3/4 inches in total and has its original safety clip. Overall it is very good.
