Late 19th century Old Mine Cut Diamond and Ruby Ring set in 18kt yellow Gold. The diamonds weigh just over 1 carat in total ( 1.08 ) and are bright and white ( G, VS ) The central Ruby weights .71 cts and the two Pear shaped Rubies .78. The features found in the Rubies are consistent with Rubies found in Myanmar. ( formerly Burma ) and there is no evidence of heat treatment. They are a medium strong tone of slightly pinkish red. The yellow gold mount is pierced with hand finishing detail. This ring measures size 7 and it can be resized. It is in good condition.
