This exceptional ring is designed and made by the renowned designer and jeweller Walter Schluep. He was trained in Switzerland and opened a boutique in Montreal in the 60's. His work was exhibited at Expo 67 and he is recognized as one of the great jewelry designers. This ring is clearly signed with his name and marked sterling. The ring is hand made circa 1980 and a cutting edge modernist design. The circular table holds a geometric pattern of silver circles and squares set in a black background. Under the ring, there is detailed design with hand hammered tooling, engraving and punch work. This piece is exceptional and in excellent condition. The ring measures size 4.
